Green the Streets with NYRP

Help take care of new street trees while cleaning up litter and the garden beds at the entrance to Highbridge Park. Learn about the Million Trees program and how to plant and care for trees on your block.
If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact Danica Doroski at volunteer@nyrp.org. Be sure to wear long pants and appropriate footwear; we will provide tools, water and gloves. After signing and filling out a short waiver we will get started!
New York Restoration Project (NYRP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming open space in underserved communities to create a greener, more sustainable New York City. In partnership with the City of New York, NYRP is also leading MillionTreesNYC – an initiative to plant and care for one million new trees throughout New York City’s five boroughs by 2017.
